The Modular Gallery Block is part of FolioBlocks — a premium WordPress plugin offering next-level control over gallery layout and composition. Built for creatives who want to break free from rigid grids, it allows you to craft multi-row, mixed-width layouts that feel editorial, handcrafted, and uniquely your own.
Build your gallery one row at a time. Each row automatically fills the full width, no matter how many images you place inside it. Add a single image to a row and it expands to a bold, full-width feature. Add two or more and they intelligently resize to share the space evenly, creating a clean, justified layout. Stacks offer even greater flexibility: they allow you to place multiple images on top of one another inside a single position. The row then treats the entire stack as a single visual unit, letting you blend wide hero images with compact stacked groups for a dynamic, magazine-style flow.
Behind the scenes, the gallery is powered by our own custom Image Block, allowing gallery images to be inserted as InnerBlocks. Giving you full block-editor flexibility — including effortless drag-and-drop rearranging directly in List View. No external interfaces, no modal editors, and no friction. Just a smooth, native WordPress experience designed for speed and creativity.
With refined spacing controls, row-by-row customization, built-in Lightbox support, and powerful Pro-only enhancements like downloads and WooCommerce product overlays, the Modular Gallery Block gives you an expressive, fully customizable framework for building galleries that feel intentional, modern, and visually compelling.
